Palazzo Radicati in Cella Monte hosts ATTESE DIVINE

The end of summer brings a new season for NUMM Foundation for Contemporary Arts, returning to the rooms of Palazzo Radicati with ATTESE DIVINE, a solo exhibition by Marco Laganà, born from a new collaboration with GART Contemporary Art Gallery.

On the occasion of the opening, Marco Laganà will be in conversation with Gaia De Marzo.

This will be followed by a presentation of Taccuino delle molte me (Ronzani Editore) in the presence of its author, Simona Garbarino. The poems in the book inspired the works featured in the exhibition.

An opportunity to explore the creative process behind the exhibition and the relationship between words, poetry and images at its core.

In Laganà’s work, words and images meet and transform one another. The written page becomes pictorial matter: poetic fragments, traces and layers of colour overlap, creating dense, stratified surfaces in which words move beyond the textual dimension to open up new visual narratives.

ATTESE DIVINE emerges precisely from this dialogue between poetry and visual art. The works on display originate from Simona Garbarino’s poems collected in Taccuino delle molte me, transformed through Laganà’s vision into a new language of colour, matter and gesture.

The exhibition also marks the beginning of a new collaboration between NUMM Foundation and GART art gallery, two distinct yet complementary organisations. On the one hand, the gallery, with its focus on research, the promotion of artists and the contemporary art market; on the other, the Foundation, whose aim is to broaden the cultural and public dimension of that same research, bringing it to new places, territories and audiences.

Following its first presentation at GART in Neive, the exhibition now arrives in Cella Monte, creating an ideal bridge between the Langhe and Monferrato: two UNESCO World Heritage territories brought together as part of a single exhibition journey.
