"The tattooed body becomes an identity stage, a bridge between one's inner self and the outside
world, serving as a vehicle for social interactions. Body paintings create not only a communicative
effect on others but also on the person's self, forming an image of palpable, intimate
convergence.
Similarly to tattoos, figurative art is an act of transformation, from a pristine canvas to a
communicative universe. In a sort of mirror game, this exhibition doubles the representation of the
artist's inner sensitivity and that of the 'tattooed' portrayed. It becomes evident once more how
contemporary culture intertwines different ontologies, different ways of conceiving our relationship
with reality through our body, which can convey messages, create emotions, and perspectives: by
showcasing the traces of a new code on one's skin, or by unleashing the wings of art, the
supreme instrument of communication and freedom.”
