"BAD GIRL"

"Bad Girl" is a solo exhibition by Max Ferrigno, curated by Laura Francesca Di Trapani, and held at the Castle of Casale Monferrato, Italy.

The opening will include the presentation of "Mise-en-scène of a naughty artist", a book by Laura Francesca Di Trapani dedicated to Max Ferrigno and published by Serraficalco Editore.

"The representation of the feminine in Max's research, in this latest phase, lives with an even more marked delineation of characteristics of strength, determination, and rebellion. Crazy girls, like a seismic shock, move and overturn once again certain cultural stereotypes of a strongly patriarchal society, not entirely ready to detach from traditional schemes. A saga of blood and violence whose script is built around the figure of the protagonist who, after suffering abuse, discovers she possesses incredible strength.”
